finally watched this piff, I slept on it. Watched the OG final cut and 2049 back to back. I like the OG better (almost has a gothic vibe to it and I like the little touches in set design that set it apart from the sequel.) OG Vangelis score is better too

2049 has some FIRE wide shots that must have been immaculate in IMAX. I find some of the dialogue a bit clunky, especially from Jared Leto and the female villain character.

watched this movie. Couldn't really get too much into it but something just kept preventing me from tuning out. Amazing visuals. Ana de Armas is absolutely stunning. Loved the real girl who fused with her in that sex scene.

Likely because I didn't watch the first one that I didn't understand some of what was going on. Didn't know Harrison Ford starred in the 1st one until after watching 2049
