The first movie flopped.
The second movie flopped.
Even the anime wasn't that popular.
Yet they keep thinking it's gonna pop.
It’s got fans all over the world. Cult classics are still classic.
If they put it out, it’ll eventually recoup because we’ll watch it, over and over, even after decades. I’ve seen the OG BR showings twice in theaters since 2014, that shyt was packed every time. Our standom is dedicated. We may not clamor to see everything on release day (I did twice for 2049) but it will make bank eventually. A TV show may be the best balance.Yeah, it just never made sense to put more money into it.
CBR went into it.
