The box said it can cause heart palpitations for some people.

"Chest pain warning: Minoxidil can increase your heart rate and cause or worsen chest pain. Doctors usually prescribe a beta-adrenergic blocking drug with minoxidil to avoid this. If you have new or worsening pain in the chest, arm, or shoulders, tell your doctor right away."

I ain't taking no beta-adrenergic blocking drug just to fill in my hair line so I got off it after 2 weeks. You may be fine tho.

Be careful with that stuff . While it can absolutely be helpful, there are some serious risks. One of my friends went on fin since his hairline was receding hard (at 21), but he had no results from it. He went to his dermatologist for something stronger and it ended up destroying his testosterone levels and literally giving him breasts.

shyt affects everyone differently and you're the lucky few that doesn't experience any side effects and you respond extremely well to the treatment. Some people get really fukked up on finasteride so it's not always a good option for everyone.

Also sometimes it's better to let nature take it's course on certain things. If you not getting paid for your looks it doesn't really matter if you go bald. Although I'd understand if you like 18 and going bald bc that shyt hurts way more than balding in your 30s.
