Yeah, he had more 30pt games as a rookie than his two years with Paul, you give him a dude that looks to score first and I think he'd be better. Paul is a great PG, but Blake's style doesn't really mesh with his game much.

CP3 is a ballhog

I said it first:huh:

In order to have GOAT PF potential, you must have a back to the basket game.

Blake is a new age, hybrid SF/PF with freakish leaping ability. In fact, he's not even the best of that breed.Amare before the knee injuries was better IMO.Blake's a better leaper, though

CP3 deserves some of the blame, I think Blake would be much better with a PG that had a score first mentality, like he'd really thrive with Kyrie or Steph as opposed to someone like CP3. He needs the true threat of the PG coming off that pick and firing it up without much hesitation to draw attention off him. Plus, they don't run enough iso sets for him where he gets the ball on the wing like he did as a rookie.

I always said Blake is a face up PF who has great scoring ability. I called him the PF version of Vince Carter.

CP3 needs to stop f**kin around and come to Atlanta and play with Horford. CP3 is a half court thinking PnR PG. Horford is the same but an elite PnR PF. They need each other.

I wouldn't call him a ballhog, but he needs to take backseat at times, the Clippers are a poorly built team if you just look at their roster.

Blake should spend the offseason picking Barkley's brain or working with Adrian Dantley, he was far more impressive as a rookie offensively. He's refined his jumper, but his faceup game has regressed a lot.

His faceup game is still the same but he don't get as many touches and CP3 has the ball for majority of the shot clock. Griffin game is much more effective with Bledsoe at PG.

His only skills are dunking and flopping. Like an awful combination of kemp and vlade.

:deadmanny:

If had a 15 to 18 footer he could be a hall of famer

and u can put phil/riley/pop as his coach and it still doesn't change the fact that Griffin should be much better on D and rebounding

He has a decent jumper. His issue is his game revolves around dominating the ball and being a threat with the ball. He is a ball dominant player but so is CP3. It doesn't help that Griffin is a limited defensive player as well. His impact is limited with CP3.

Memphis has been the better team. LAC needed CP3 and a magical performance to win game 2. Memphis has a better team. They fit, they have a lot of talent, and they will bang you to death. If Z-Bo or Gasol doesn't get in foul trouble, LAC doesn't have a chance.

He works on his game alot, I know. So the effort isn't the issue. His FT's are improved at least....

But he needs to work with Karl Malone in the off-season. He gets put into the same position as Malone off CP3's pick n rolls, and he has to end up passing back b/c he has little confidence in that baseline 15footer.

He needs to add that to his game b/c Malone could drive baseline or you had to respect his jumper. Blake has no jumper to respect.

And to me they kinda have the same build physically.

Naw bruh, this nikka CP3 (my fav player in the NBA) doesn't want to pass the ball unless it leads to an assist.

Blake Doesn't get his proper touches cause CP3 is fishing for assist the entire game.

That's not his game. You either have that game or you don't. He has never been a movement PF and he will never be a movement PF. That's like asking Tracy McGrady or Vince Carter to be Reggie Miller or Rip Hamilton. It will never happen. You also have to have very good to elite BBIQ to be a PnR PF to begin with. Griffin is a face-up scoring big who kills you with quickness and athleticism. CP3 and him are a bad match for each other. Honestly, they would be better for him if they had Bledsoe at PG but they would be worse as a team.

I think it's a major stretch to hope that Griffin jump-shot becomes like Malone. That's just not his talent. Griffin is what he is and if you let him do him, he is damn good at it.
