Rockets got nothing for Durant.

Yeah, he had more 30pt games as a rookie than his two years with Paul, you give him a dude that looks to score first and I think he'd be better. Paul is a great PG, but Blake's style doesn't really mesh with his game much.

CP3 deserves some of the blame, I think Blake would be much better with a PG that had a score first mentality, like he'd really thrive with Kyrie or Steph as opposed to someone like CP3. He needs the true threat of the PG coming off that pick and firing it up without much hesitation to draw attention off him. Plus, they don't run enough iso sets for him where he gets the ball on the wing like he did as a rookie.
CP3 is a ballhog
I said it first![]()
In order to have GOAT PF potential, you must have a back to the basket game.
Blake is a new age, hybrid SF/PF with freakish leaping ability. In fact, he's not even the best of that breed.Amare before the knee injuries was better IMO.Blake's a better leaper, though
I wouldn't call him a ballhog, but he needs to take backseat at times, the Clippers are a poorly built team if you just look at their roster.
Blake should spend the offseason picking Barkley's brain or working with Adrian Dantley, he was far more impressive as a rookie offensively. He's refined his jumper, but his faceup game has regressed a lot.
His only skills are dunking and flopping. Like an awful combination of kemp and vlade.
If had a 15 to 18 footer he could be a hall of famer
and u can put phil/riley/pop as his coach and it still doesn't change the fact that Griffin should be much better on D and rebounding
I knew he was gonna wilt under the pressure from wrestling with Zbo and Gasol...
Not too many can stand in there with the bruise brothers every night

He works on his game alot, I know. So the effort isn't the issue. His FT's are improved at least....
But he needs to work with Karl Malone in the off-season. He gets put into the same position as Malone off CP3's pick n rolls, and he has to end up passing back b/c he has little confidence in that baseline 15footer.
He needs to add that to his game b/c Malone could drive baseline or you had to respect his jumper. Blake has no jumper to respect.
And to me they kinda have the same build physically.
Amare 2.0
I said Harden was better than Griffin last year and dumb posters wanted to act like that was something crazy.
