- At this time, the previously rumored Randy Orton versus Brock Lesnar match at SummerSlam has been scrapped. WWE is now reportedly set on doing Lesnar vs. Triple H at the show. Word is that Orton as a possible opponent for Lesnar has recently become considerably less popular among WWE officials.

Nah..Meltzer and Alvarez was talking about the Blandy/Lesnar possibility right after Extreme Rules and only until the Cripple H angle went down did they try to recant and go in a different direction. It's all obvious now. Lesnar being kicked off the show and Cripple H about to make his little statement next week to keep it going..it's definitely a Summerslam set up.
