Boston over Miami and Toronto

:patrice:
unless they get KD im likeView media item 8908

Best guess is the rationale is that Miami will be another year older, Bosh could be done and they could lose Whiteside for nothing. And Toronto could lose DeRozan & Biyombo for nothing

While Boston will be adding a top 3 pick and have enough cap space for 2 max contracts while keeping the core they already have now intact

FWIW, I think it's farrr too early to be talking about championship odds

As they should.

RJ is gonna retire. Cavs have no backup SF. Love is still a bad matchup for the Warriors or Spurs. JR, Delly and Mozgov are free agents. Warriors only have Barnes and Ezeli as free agents (who both are trash) and have cap to get a max player or pieces (unlike Cavs)

They should be favorites. Only thing that tips the balance is if KD goes to the Spurs or Cavs

Look, nobody's trying to take anything away from the Cavs.

They did it. They came back. They punked GSW. Respect.

But let's not act like GSW wasn't wounded throughout this series. Between Steph needing knee surgery, Draymond getting suspended (his own damn fault), and Bogut being out (made a HUGE difference in Game 7 with garbage ass Ezeli costing them in big moments), there's no denying Warriors were a bit short-handed.

But hey, it is what it is and Cleveland won. Looking at next year, oddsmakers see this and they take it into account. So it makes sense as to why they would see GSW as the favorite.
