Yeah I remember back in '99 they showed clips of the celebrity Blaze Battle on Rap City The Basement. Cap got killed by a dude named Breeze Eva Flowin, and Breeze got murdered by this funny animated nikka named Sunkiss I think that used to be down wit Big Pun. Rza hoped in the battle and killed a nikka named Lord Akim or some shyt then got shut down by Rasta lookin Mooney D. Mooney D beat Craig G to win that battle. Then the Blaze Battle 2000 shyt came on HBO. Eyedea killed them dudes on some freestyle shyt. I ain't gon lie, I started tieing my white durags in the back and rockin em wit my fitteds just like Shells did for a while!

I think when the actual battle was recorded they rapped over instrumentals that were out at the time. I had this on tape and in the previews of the battle you could hear KT(Killa Tactics) saying "wrap yourself and Bounce cause you don't want no static!"but he was rapping over the "Dead Wrong" beat. I think since this was being shown on HBO they would have had to get clearance for the music, that's why they used the different instrumentals that they did.

Sunkiss = Deshawn from Showbiz & A.G.'s classic "Represent" track. I remember hearing that he was a hardcore battle cat who used to run with D.I.T.C., then later on Big Pun and the Terror Squad and somehow had Cuban Link's back when all that Fat Joe/Cuban Link beef went down. Supposedly he shot the fair one with Joe and it was pretty much a tie from what I heard but i could be wrong since i've also heard conflicting stories.
and word to the rza jumping in the battle to defend the wu's honor after cappa got served with the quickness.
wasn't this the one with rock from heltah skeltah and kwest the madd ladd. if so i remember kwest spitting some punchline that he thought was clever but instead it ended up sounding gay as fukk and had ppl calling him "kwest the gay rapper".
