I didn't make it once I saw the tickets were $60. I went to a $12 groupon comedy show instead.
Am i the only one who cringe seeing these lames in superhero costumes?
OG comicon, I prefer home made costumes to the pro-made shyt they send IG models in. If you're there to hang with people, then you probably want a halloween party atmosphere. If you want to fill your spank bank with memories of hos in panty hose (that won't give you the time of day), then by all means hit up comicon.

Several people I met were saying that blerdcon should hit other cities. Then was talking to 2 of the cofounders after the convention ended. They said they’d heard this as well, but a traveling convention doesn’t really fit the current mold - most of the major conventions stay in the same place, and that gives it’s sort of it’s flavor/niche. People come from all over for comicon, dragoncon, for example.

Instead of the black nerds going to clubs and bars and strip clubs etc trying to hook up with black folks that want nothing to do with them, let them all congregate in one spot doing they nerd things, hook up make nerd babies and celebrate black love.

Man I would’ve loved to attend, but I was at a Comic convention in Raleigh this weekend (it was awesome & had plenty of black folks in there), Gotta mention this to my brothers and cousins & start planning a trip there next year.

Atlantas comic con earlier this month actually had a shyt load of black people there. You should go next year
To be honest all those comic con chicks still want the cool dude, so if you’re lame or socially awkward going to those won’t help you
