OK are you ready for what has never been done?! As part of our Reunion theme, Blerdcon will host the first con cookout EVER! On Saturday of the Blerdcon weekend, badge holders are invited to join us at the “Blerd BBQ”!

Sandwich- Choice of:
Freshly Grilled Hamburger
Smoked Pulled Pork with Bourbon BBQ Sauce
Pulled BBQ Chicken

Side Dish- Choice of Two:
Fresh Cole Slaw
Creamy Potato Salad with Fresh Dill
White Cheddar Mac & Cheese

Soft Drink or Bottled Water

But this isn’t just a BBQ. This will be a full out day party outside in the lot behind the Hyatt! There will be music and performances for the whole 3 hours!

Bring your Uncle Gus cosplays, your Fresh Prince “Summertime” gear and be part of this Blerd tradition! We gon’ celebrate and have a GOOD time!

You MUST:
Purchase your Blerdcon badge to be able to buy a wrist band for the cookout. There will be no outside access to this event!

I know that CSULA has a type of convention that they created - I once met the founder (friendly Black cosplay chick). I know that there are probably a lot of Latinos and Asians there (due to the student body) but that is one place that you wouldn't feel totally alone at.

I like comics also and also don't do that cos play stuff. If they are approaching worship that's them my man. It isn't you and I and they aren't hurting nobody I just let them live. I don't care what folks in Japan are doing and neither should you unless you're going to use that same logic for everything. Other than that, any other black city I think would be a failure.

Don't really consider myself a "nerd" but hope it works. Male/female ratio will be 5/1 or higher, but that's consistent with all comic/game conventions
