why is the majority of wealth generated by capitalism owned by a small number of people if that wealth is expected to be used for the good of everyone?

underneath it all, the economy is still driven by the barter system developed by the egyptians
poor people don't barter...in a nutshell this is the reason for weatlh disparityi got an old roommate who started a farm, started with 6 cows in 2015 and now has a herd of 90 (@ $600+ per head of cattle). He will hit a breaking point where he can sell cattle at the same rate he generates them.

in a job, you are paid by one entity (the company). When you are the company you can be paid by multiple entities. If you provide a product/service that is desired more than the money you gain wealth provided the numbers check out
