Had a Gamestop employee tell me he "felt disrespected Microsoft shipped Titanfall at 792p." Come to find out he has neither next gen system and only plans on building a gaming PC later this year.

Another Gamestop was referring to Xbox One as "bootybox" at launch and carried on with classic Waitstation dialect.

That was interesting that you posted the defects with the ps2, knowing one of the most costly malfunctions was the RROD. When my ps2 fukked up I sent it back and got it fixed for free twice. MS wanted that bread.

Plus lets talk about the negatives and not the fact that Ps2 is still the best console last decade

When the PS2 dropped, having a warranty wasn't this must have thing. Its a gaming console
All the previous system other than the PS1 had little issues working properly
Out the gate, tons of PS2's, way more than RROD would not play DVD based games/movies
Others just wouldn't play either.
So anyone who bought a PS2 from launch until 4yrs after it was out?
Sony didn't fix your shyt, they charged you full price to fix it. You had to buy a new one, then make sure you had a warranty
I worked at Funcoland, watched PS2's pile up in my store, and every store in the region
Watched Sony reps come to our stores and tell us they know of it and was not gonna do anything about it
Customers pleading with us to give them a discount, refund/whatever because they was stuck with a bricked console
My first two PS2's didn't work. I only got them exchanged cuz I worked there. Otherwise I was fukked

Damn you got all that info from my post impressive. Well first off i never said the rrod was the highest i said one of the highest.
And second i have no reason to lie or front for sony, i did get my system fixed twice FOR FREE so deal with it. I had both systems so and ps2 had more quality games even though my favorites at the time were on the xbox, there were just more son. You must got me confused with someone who pledges alliance to one particular company, i give 00 fukks about either brand while y'all argue back and forth about apples and oranges i sit back and laugh.

So this is just my anecdotal story, but I thought it was funny considering the conversations we have here.

So I pick up my nephew from basketball practice yesterday. He's 13 and the extent of his gaming experince is getting my consoles when I move on.

We're in the car and start talking about games.

Him: How much is X1 and PS4
Me: $500 $400
Him: which one is better
Me: i got xbox cause i like the games.
Him: PS4 is better and cheaper
Me: then what the hell you ask me for
Him: IDK
Me: have you ever even seen a ps4
Him: No, but my friend said it was the best

Him: I wanna get one so I can play infamous
Me: I got infamous 2 at the house you wanna take that one now

Fast forward to this morning and his shyt still don't work.

I'm gonna go over after work and see if that "MTU" fix will work for him. If not my mother said she's taking it back to the store.
