There are federal laws in place that protect endangered species, in other words, wildlife species that are at high risk in terms of their populations facing extinction. These laws have been in place for decades, longer than many of us on here were born. Some of y'all are just not knowledgeable of these federal laws and how they work, and it shows, which is not your fault yet it's telling how oblivious you are to certain things.
This is why a lot of Black people need to be more in tune with certain laws like the aforementioned; for example, so many wouldn't put themselves in a scenario where they're baffled and wondering why the feds are coming to them after lighting up a possum, which is protected under specific animal laws, would've never put yourself in that situation if you knew.
Yes, cacs are some of the biggest hypocrites out here but you still gotta be smarter than that; being rebellious for the sake of it isn't helping you or anyone else, and you don't win by putting yourself in situations that lead to jail by being stubbornly ignorant and wilfully uninformed.
That's how they get to self-destruct because you're letting the emotions lead you rather than using your brain.
