I can see what the issue is. I've met these kinds before, everything is a social event. She probably see's another black woman and becomes annoying like they're gonna be besities and gets attached quickly. Nah baby girl. I smile and speak to people because I'm a happy go lucky person and I was raised right, but after I speak I don't have any obligations to anyone after that

The person mad is craving interactions/friends and I'm just here to workout etc. "We can go to pilates together" or we can take the same pilates class and be cool with each other. This is like some of my friends who want to be gym buddies and talk while working out. NO. I am not at the gym for social interaction. I'm there to sweat and kill calories. I prefer working out alone with my music so I can zone out and focus. We can talk at brunch or whatever

All of this!

I'd be friendly enough with her to find out her workout schedule, then avoid going there at those times in the future.

I fear that this woman is lying. She says that other black women turn their nose up to her after saying other races do not do that. My experience is that other races of women are extremely racist and prejudice. They may seem nice because of that fake smile, but let you be confident in your skin, in your hair, and around your people... they damn near get the evil eye.

So I call bs on her statement about the other races.

And I'll add that maybe other black women can pick up on that bs she's trying to cover up.

There's a point in life where your high school and college circle disperses.
People move, get married, have children, change their lifestyle, etc.
It's around this time that I hear women complaining about not having female companionship.
They say it's hard to make friends with other women for various reasons.
I'm wondering if this is related to that.
