The AP article does allow more perspective and show it’s less impropriety and more they have/had no idea how to handle their money. She did use money to take a private jet somewhere but did pay it back. Giving out contracts to family and friends is what the other folks do so as long as there is evidence of work being done, I don’t have a real issue with that.

I’m not a fan due to their mission intentionally excluding black men and giving the bulk of their money to lgbtq orgs that discriminate against black people, and the founders have enriched themselves off the backs of black male death (media deals, etc) but the actual non-profit isn’t doing anything illegal.

I’m not saying she’s wrong. The article specifically mentions them giving money to Mike Brown and George Floyd’s orgs but doesn’t mention Tamir Rice at all. She isn’t lying about them not supporting her organization.

White organisations do this all the time, but of course the age old agenda has to be maintained that Black people are crooked somehow. Anything that is for the advancement of Black people will be scrutinized and demonized. The BLM slander and hate was strong long before there were signs of corruption simply because it claimed to stand for Black rights when most White Americans dont believe Black people deserve any rights whatsoever.

I long said here that never ever donate to charity organisations, not even the Red Cross. Theyre not obligated by law to use all that donation money for actual charity work. In most cases not even 5% of your donation goes to charity work, but goes towards salaries and other expenses. All these charities are full of dog shyt, not just BLM.

And they all deserve heat and criticism and just because they do it doesn’t mean this situation should get a pass because of it. It’s stupid logic.

This is my problem with politics. Once one associates themselves with a side, they view that as their team and defend them vehemently no matter how wrong they are. Those who are defending or excusing this behavior are doing so because it's coming from 'their side', so they rationalize it away to protect their 'team'.

What is happening from these 'leaders' is disgusting. Not only are people who are donating getting their money stolen and having it spent on frivolous things, but if there is a future, legitimate charity, they might not get any donations because of the actions of these women.
