Y'all hating on the internet, but they just picked up win.

:manny:

Meanwhile the highest unemployment is amongst the Black demographic. As specially amongst young Black people. Black lives matter to sustain a proper live. The LBTQ has been riding on the back of Black peoples civil rights (movement). It's a con game.

Unemployment Rate - 16-19 Yrs., Black or African American

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. adults estimate that nearly one in four Americans (23.6%) are gay or lesbian. Gallup has previously found that Americans have greatly overestimated the U.S. gay population, recording similar average estimates of 24.6% in 2011 and 23.2% in 2015. In each of the three polls in which Gallup has asked this question, a majority of Americans estimated this population to be 20% or greater.

Americans' estimate of the proportion of gay people in the U.S. is more than five times Gallup's more encompassing 2017 estimate that 4.5% of Americans are LGBT, based on respondents' self-identification as being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.

[…]

In 2002, Gallup asked Americans to estimate the proportion of men and women who are gay or lesbian, respectively. The results were nearly identical, with an average estimate that 21% of men and 22% of women were gay.

[...]
Overestimations of the nation's gay population may in part be due to the group's outsized visibility. An annual report by GLAAD, an LGBT advocacy group, found that representation of LGBT people as television series regulars on broadcast primetime scripted programming reached an all-time high of 8.8% in the 2018-2019 television season, which is nearly twice Gallup's estimate of the actual population.

But Americans have overestimated the sizes of other minority groups in the past as well, including U.S. blacks and Hispanics.
Americans Still Greatly Overestimate U.S. Gay Population

The demographics of sexual orientation and gender identity in the United States have been studied in the social sciences in recent decades. A 2017 Gallup poll concluded that 4.5% of adult Americans identified as LGBT with 5.1% of women identifying as LGBT, compared with 3.9% of men.[1] A different survey in 2016, from the Williams Institute, estimated that 0.6% of U.S. adults identify as transgender

My only fear is that the BLM movement tries to encompass so many things at once, that nothing gets done.

What I've noticed with progressive movements is that, while I do support the things they're trying to do, they often don't get the desired results because they want so much so quickly for so many people at once, that nothing gets done.

Having a singular clear mission objective is absolutely necessary here. I support black lives. Period. He, she, they/them, non-binary, LGBTQIA, whatever. If you black im with you, unless you choosing to side with the oppressor. I just hope things don't become fragmented, because then we lose momentum.

They get nothing done, because they want to be the spokespersons for Black society as a whole. The most important thing that needs to be focused on is economy (Reparations). The socioeconomic conditions need to change and better for Black people. The amount of economic damage that was done in the last 100 years in runs in the tens of trillions if not hundreds. Next year it will be 100 ago Tulsa was destroyed. In 1923 it will be Rosewood that was massacred 100 from now and so on...

Rev. T. Sheri dikkerson, executive director of the Black Lives Matter OKC chapter, holds a press conference outside the city hall building in downtown Oklahoma City. dikkerson issued the group's following demands:

● An apology from Police Chief Wade Gourley and Mayor David **** and the immediate resignation of Gourley, whose lack of leadership resulted in aggressive actions by the police towards peaceful protesters, escalating tensions and resulting in violence that could have been avoided.

● The immediate release without charges of all incarcerated protestors who were arrested for nonviolent offenses or “resisting arrest” while defending themselves or their loved ones from unlawful use of excessive force by OKC PD and the sheriff.

● Disciplinary action and termination be taken against all police officers who violently attacked peaceful protesters.

● The immediate installation of an independent citizens’ complaint review board for the OKC PD, which will have authority to review all complaints, including use of force, and discipline offending officers.

● Mayor **** meet with us within 24 hours.

● Provision of training in de-escalation tactics for all OCPD officers, which must include training in interactions with persons who have mental health issues as well as training that includes cultural sensitivity.

● The immediate public release of the arrest record of Olain Jefferson, Jr. and body cam footage of all police involved in his arrest.

● The immediate public release of all video footage of the OKCPD incident involving and resulting in the death of Derrick Ollie Sr.

● The arrest and prosecution of David Stewart for the kidnapping and illegal confinement of Mr. Travis Miller Sr.

● Justice for the family of Mr. Elray Barber who was shot and killed by OKCPD on Christmas Eve 2019.

● Justice for Ms. Rolana Keeler who was shot by OKCPD on Christmas Eve 2019 while unarmed.

● Mayor **** commit to the construction of a grocery store on the Eastside of OKC to be completed within 6 months.

● The granting of clemency and immediate release of wrongfully charged member of our community, Julius Jones, by Governor Stitt.

So you want to turn BLM into something besides police and criminal justice reform while also criticizing other groups for doing the same?

Just say you don't like fakkits :mjlol:

The simple fact that they tried to say that the tranny that got beat up in that one video was because they were a tranny and not because they hit someone's car, tried to flee the scene, then hopped out and tried to fight several people until one dude decided to knock some sense into him. Thats what happened. Not a "minor accident" and not attacked for being a tranny.
So what about the police violence, which is what you originally objected to?
This issue has made black people more of a closed fist than it ever has in the last 50yrs. Dissenters, and make no mistake that is what they are, are trying to separate our fingers.

I dont think bw ever were with trans like imo
They were until they started to see them infringe on Black women’s identity. Black LGBT’s biggest support tends to be from black women (for various reasons)... but now a lot of them are starting to see how destabilizing the movement is politically and socially to the black community.

Great question. It's Black people who are being killed disproportionally at the hand of law enforcement. I don't see what this has to do with the LBTQ? The LBTQ in total makeup 5%. And in Black society it's even less. The amount of Black people who suffer under socioeconomic oppression are by far heterosexuals.

Socioeconomic justice means the fundings will be replaced and put into the Black community. This will do two things demilitarize the police and boost Black communities economy. This will lead to self sustaining Black communities. The same way you see in LBTQ communities and for this reason we don't see heavy police presence in LBTQ communities.

What fakkits do amongst themselves is their business and lifestyle. But a lot of fakkits have the tendency to force themselves upon non-fakkits. That shyt is disrespectful. There are fakkit clubs. They are financially doing well etc.

It's that they are the weaker side of the spectrum, who try to make the rules for 98% of Black society and what way Black people should go. Ever since they started that garbage things have gone worse for Black people. Calling heterosexual Black males toxic etc. So the question is do you hate heterosexual people?

The phrase “Black Lives Matter” was made by LGBT and now the Trans are trying to split off? The original phrases doesnt need to be changed they can voice their opinions just the same imo.

BLM is some bullshyt anyway. :yeshrug: folks STILL not figuring that out though because they dont care to begin with. Not down with this covert operation.
That's the problem, because Black lives do matter. It's Black lives that are being targeted in all facets of life due to socioeconomic disparities. It touches everything. Education, healthcare, jobs/ unemployment, housing. You name it, it's in every resource.
