I think their problem is that "black", in this instance, doesn't extent to black women or black members of the LGBT community. If you're not willing to stand up when black women or our black LGBT brothers and sisters are being discriminated against and harassed, then "loving black and living black" only applies if you're a member of a certain subset of the black community; the definition of privilege. Acknowledging this doesn't erase black men.

I guess according to the activists who are facing backlash for this? If everyone thinks that loving black automatically extends to all black people, including black women and black LGBT individuals, then I fail to see what the issue is with that statement except for its banality.

And I'm not a supporter of the "BLM" organization. It doesn't even seem to exist in any sort of unified official capacity.

Btw I have no issues with women gays etc being included in any movement but to totally erase black men is not acceptable nor is fighting homophobia, misogyny, transphobia a priority over black autonomy for any real black movement.
