As far as people saying are they gonna kill Geralt....only click the spoiler if you've beaten the game:

The end of the base game shows what happens to Geralt eventually. Which is why you can continue to play after you beat it. The ending you got is the ultimate end for Geralt and the other characters. So it's not possible to permanently kill him in a DLC.
