Not everyone can turn a movement into a successful label that produces talent. Jeezy and CTE never took off IMO
That's a shame...
At least everyone in 1017 Bricksquad had a chance even if it meant putting out mixtapes.

Gucci has been an incredible talent scout, even Ross did pretty well with MMGThat's a shame...

sometimes having artist & a label is just about appearing like a boss
it was never about elevating others or making them stars
you were being used..........

Bruh was never going to blow...Of course I put on gonna get top placement
I was rocking with Slick for a minuteSlick Pulla wasnt that bad...
He hasnt ruined any Jeezy songs imo.
Wasn’t YG signed to Jeezy label, too?

What I believe he is saying is they cut off his budget to give more to jeezy...
Mind you he is correct about his single bubblin on billboard...
The man has a legitimate gripe
Bloodraw was definitely underrated... he sounded like Gilbert Goffried rapping those ad libs.

Ain't Meek saying the opposite about Ross?Yes he was...
Gucci helped Nicki Minaj blow in 2009, for a while she was just sitting there with Young Money until Beam Me Up Scotty
Called Migos on the phone and offered to help em
Did a project with Future
Almost signed Bankroll Fresh but it didn't workout. Gucci let him keep the money to help towards his probation.
Ross on the other hand still looked out for Triple C's when he blew up and didnt leave em in the dust.
Told Gunplay to clean up his act and focus on music
Gave Wale some new life after he got dropped by Interscope
Polished Meek up rather than him suffering the same fate as other Philly Rappers.
Both Gucci and Ross helped take care of their artists and it paid off.
I don’t believe he has diva tendencies just that he isn’t a very good label manager. Not only in terms of seeing through shyt but also the people he choose.Bloodraw was definitely underrated... he sounded like Gilbert Goffried rapping those ad libs.
I liked his Indictment Papers mixtape that he did with DJ Drama plus I felt him and Slick Pulla were a decent supporting cast to Jeezy.
Jeezy a good rapper but he did display some diva tendencies.
