I've gotten better but once I die, I'm back to the same stupid spot and have to go through all the bullshyt again.

Where are the checkpoints in the game?

I really don't want to watch video walk throughs just to beat this game. But I'm tired of playing the same parts over and over again. It's like I'm Tom cruise in that edge of tomorrow movie.

That's teh beauty of the game really. You sound about as pussified as he did at the beginning of that movie. Let us hope you'll man up and get it right after 200 deaths or so.

Game's designed to be tough with a healthy dose of cheap and unforgivable.
The dudes that made this and Demon/Dark souls have built their infamous reputation on these games giving you all the feels you're experiencing now, so it's up to you to decide whether it's worth it to finally break on through.
I mean, are you having fun with it? If not, switch it out, 'cause it's NOT going to get easier...you are NOT going to get better (I mean, you can get better at dodging, switching up your attacks, but there will be SOMETHING new to throw you for a loop and make you rage quit) and you aren't going to have ANY fun with it if you aren't having fun with it now....'because shyt gets worse. The monsters get worse, the areas get worse. It's a series for masochists. This is well known. Don't have a whinge about it since it makes you look bad. Put it down or fukking sell it either way but K.I.M.

Don't get me wrong, I am enjoying the game, the atmosphere and the difficulty is a change of pace compared to other games I've played.

And I am not quitting. I just hate the fact that there aren't any checkpoints. I want to keep going, I want to enjoy myself and I don't care about dying. I just don't want to play for like 3 hours trying not to die, and then dying and having to start all the way back from the beginning. It's demoralizing.

I bought the game on Friday. It was worth it for $20. But the Damn checkpoints
