Not really my thing but good luck.

First of all, props on the project. I must say that the production value is so low that it is actually distracting to me. It is going to be hard to make any noise in the entertainment business where there are so many other web series independent projects which look to be on the same value and level of Hollywood production, and that is what consumers are looking for 2017
The whole first half was corny
Unfortunately I have to agee, there is just nothing natural about the dialogue
I think it would have worked a little better if some of the scenes were trimmed down a bit. The scene where dude was in bed with his girl could have been about 15 seconds and made the same point. Same with some of the office scenes.
The dialogue he was having with his wife and name dropping hidden colors, Tariq nasheed staying woke and so many other clichés you read right here on the coli, it was hard to listen to. That little rap battle at the end quoting ether and tack over lyrics was cringe inducing, like forum posts being acted out
Not trying to be an a$$hole but when the dialogue is that level, it just takes you out of the experience completely
Co sign to the fullest
If they tone downed the militant talk and made it's more natural it could be a really good show. I think if they used the same focus with different actors it could be good
Thank you.The film industry is getting better as authentic black stories are being told by black people. What is the purpose of Blue Collar Hustle? What impact do you think it will on the black community and the black film industry?
I wouldn’t give the film industry too much credit just yet. Having four great black television shows on air isn’t enough for me to stand up and sing Hallelujah. I want to see multiple black and diverse television and film projects on my screen year round. I want to see more black writers in prominent positions. I want to see black producers given the shot that they deserve. I want to see REAL change in every facet of the industry.
