Lmao nah bro. I'm not from the West either but you just kind of catch on from hearing nikkas raps. And then also questioning why certain west coast artists might not work with each other, then you see their affiliations and things just start adding up. Then there's documentaries like gangland and that StreetGangs youtube channel. Neighborhood Crip is a collection of a bunch of different crip sets usually all having the name "neighborhood" in their name. So Rolling 60s Neighborhood Crip (which is what Nipsey was), and there's a bunch of other Rollin "" Neighborhood Crips like the 40s, 50s.Thank you bro. Coming from a whole other coast here so feel free to tell me I'm doin too much...but neighborhood and schoolyard are 2 different sets?
I always took being in the "neighborhood" (So. Cal.) as just a different way of saying "in the mix"/in that lifestyle as opposed to being in a certain section of the city
Who are you planning on impressing with your new knowledge of california gang culture?
TeeCee4800 schoolyard too and showed real love

Thank you for the info bro
Now that I think about Nip an Q's history that makes sense
just because somebody's rocking your colors doesn't automatically mean ya'll cool. A lot of people think the "beef" is still crip vs blood. But if anything it'sInterestingI'm clueless to this shyt

There are two factions of Crip sets in LA. Neighborhood Crips aka N Hood Crips and Gangsta Crip is the other faction. There are really two very big Crip gangs in LA with a bunch of sub sets. All the Rollin Crips fall under the N Hood Crip faction. This applies nationwide outside of LA as well but in LA those two Crip factions constantly fight each other and are at war over old ass beef that started in the 70's lol. Bodies keep dropping on both sides so it keeps the war going. I'm hoping Nipsey death brings a true peace and not some temporary peace treaty like what has been in the past. What's the difference?
