This was kinda defining time in the game, and in my life, I just turned 17 in September, and was on that path, selling weed, smoking blunts, stealing alcohol, cigarettes, partying just hitting that point in high school....Rap was crazy, everyone was waiting on Nas and Jay, I was still playing that Cormega and Styles P from the previous summer, I wasn't feeling the singles, no one really liked 'Bonnie & Clyde 03', anticipating what Jay and Nas would have to say about each other, no one expected that weak of a single. Yeah, I was posting on SOHH back then, and there were still insane Jay fans, who tried to spin how that song was classic and 'grown up' music..Hilarious.

My mom found my stash spot, and flushed my weed, then a week later, I came home blacked out drunk from my boys house, when my plans went awry, as I was drinking straight vodka and chasing with Baileys Irish Cream, disgusting. So, I wake up, don't remember much, but know I've fukked up.... I've been throwing up all night....know Mom is going to impose some sanctions, and I'm laying in bed like 'At least The Blueprint 2 is coming out next week', that's devotion lol, back then album releases were so hyped, you knew the tracklist a month and a half, you knew song concepts, and production line ups, scanned MTV.com for traces of news.....
