That was a difficult article to read because it's not how you presented it. Also black culture on mainstream TV and usually followed one formula. Blacks created content and non-black finance it. Of course those financing it will put their finger into. As for the twitter posts is part of the problem. The whole notion of having to fit a certain mold to be black is flat out dumb. What makes it worse is when black folks support and encourage the idea of giving back to the community. Then, later criticizing folks trying to help signifying they don't have the same experience or not black enough understand how to help. You don't see the contradiction we place on ourselves?

But media and images and the way it operates in America influence Black people and how Black people are treated. This has been the case historically and currently. Also a entertainment significant sector of the American economy. Black people should be empowered in that sector.
It takes relatively little work to advocate for the stories Black people and others compare to the benefit.

It doesn't make sense for you and others to complain as you y'all have about Black images and then cower about using constructive solutions advocating making change

your overly hostile posting style recently is a poor cover up for depressed hopeless resignation in the face of Black Americans' circumstances.

That's just income diversification because music is a wave that eventually goes away. And it's why every smart musician who can moves into other areas that permanently produce income like owning restaurants, real estate, etc...

And it makes sense that 50, who didn't grow up like those Black suburban white brainwashed clowns producing anti-Black content, would produce Black male centric shows that none of those other people would ever even want to produce.

Because they hate being Black and Black men in particular and want to cater to their white "friends" ( who don't like them anyway) by trashing their own race.
