Consumers finally smartening up with BMW profits falling, and value propositions like Hyundai/Genesis brand growing.
To be fair, everyone's profits are falling due to price competition, tariffs, and electrification R&D costs.

I was just at BMW HQ yesterday. They've cut a lot of staff in the past couple of months. :sadcam:

Car companies, especially luxury, have been ripping people off for a long time. Porsche is especially egregious with their $600 add-ons that come free in Kias.

They're especially looking funny in the light with Tesla constantly doing free OTA updates and providing other free improvements.

Nah, its not all that impressive. It's a couple of regular office buildings. You get to see all of the cars early though. Had a few M8's rolling around.

Hyundai and Mercedes on the other hand.:wow:

Nice....:youngsabo:

To be fair, no one has to buy a BMW...:skip:
Not sure what all the complaining is about... just don't drive one.
Ok we won't :skip:

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — BMW CEO Harald Krueger is stepping down after a four-year tenure in which the automaker lost its lead in luxury car sales and saw an early head start in electric vehicles evaporate.

Under Krueger’s four-year stewardship BMW also lost its market leading position in the luxury market to competitor Daimler’s Mercedes-Benz brand. More recently BMW lost money on its automotive business in the first quarter of the year after the company was hit by a 1.4 billion euro ($1.6 billion) charge for an anti-trust case and by higher upfront costs for new technology. Only the financial services and motorcycle divisions kept the group as a whole in profit.
