Miami's not a top 10 job breh. I'd be hard pressed to even say it's top 20
-Little to no support from the admin
-low pay for HC and top assistants
-Average facilities
-Local media always looking to bury the hometown team
-small enrollment which = low turnout in stadium an half hour away

Only thing keeping UM from becoming FIU/FAU is the insane amount of local talent in the 305. Most of which WANT to attend. But recruiting in Miami is a gift and a curse. Best talent but easily the most shady and corrupt.

all true points, but Miami is a high visibility job

you bring Miami back, the coaching world is your oyster

that in itself makes Miami a top 15 gig, then you add in the history, tradition, etc. its in the top 10

Wisconsin took his soul repeatedly. Pelini had his chance to make it big in 2010 and 2011 but after they choked vs Texas at home then he had the meltdown with Martinez on sideline the love started to shift other direction. 2011 and 2012 they suffered too many blowout losses (giving up 63 and 70 pts in 2012) for an alleged defensive guru. 2013 and 2014 Nebraska played weak schedules and still couldn't close the deal its been 15 fukking years since Nebraska won a conference title. Pelini losing big games consistently and being an a-hole with media/fans you had to figure enough was enough. Nebraska laying down vs Wisconsin and Gordon showed nothing had changed and losing on senior day the following week showed it was :camby: Not even that lucky comeback vs Iowa could save him the way the Northwestern Hail Mary did. To be real if Westerkamp doesn't make that catch that chump would've been :camby: last year he used up is fluke win pass.

Nebraska is also the weakest academically in the big 10, that has to hurt.

i don't know shyt about rutgers fam.
i thought the two additions [rutgers / maryland] were worse

:wtf:

Rutgers is definitely better than Iowa, Nebraska, Indiana, and Minnesota... probably MSU too

Rutgers is acutally a decent school. Way behind the ivies but you actually need to do well there. Those school carlos mentioned are all worse, especially indiana and iowa, I wish I went to Iowa my GPA would be 3.5

Miami is not a top 10 job.

USC
Michigan
Ohio State
Florida State
Texas
Florida
Alabama
Notre Dame
Oklahoma
Oregon

Right off the top of my head those are better jobs than Miami.

he won at least 9 games every season he was there. what do they expect to walk through that door? dude was 67-27. this isnt the 70s, no one wants to play in lincoln nebraska in 2014. hard to believe anyone is doing better than 67-27 in 7 years in lincoln

3-5 in year one post Bo

a couple of super-fluke losses so far so they should really be 5-3, but they fukked up not prying scott frost away from oregon and going to a faster paced offense IMO. switching to a more up-tempo chip kelly like offense is the only way that nebraska would up their recruiting and become more competitive.

mike riley was such a p*ssy ass safe hire.

I've been told folks that this was the Bill Callahan situation all over again.

It's time for Nebraska to circle the wagons and get rid of bytchass Mike Riley.
