In retrospect they should have based it on new york + chicago and revolved the story around the young goons' come up. There would have been less slow periods.

They also totally mishandled the aftermath of the jimmy storyline too

Its like he died, nucky showed ONE moment of rememberance at the church and that was that. Then the end happens. Had they showed jimmys death affect nucky more it would have meant more at the end.
