Also that Margaret storyline was so terrible in season 3. And I'll slightly take Ralphie the nutjob over Gyp. Just slightly. Because Ralphie had a lot of classic/fukked up scenes. I couldn't wait for Ralph to have a scene because the fukkery he brought.

That Tracy killing by Ralph was more gully/grimey then anything Gyp did.

I will say this. I'll take Jimmy, Lansky, Richard, Chalky, Rothstein, and Capone any day over Chrissy, p*ssy, Paulie, Sil, Raplhie, and Junior.

Ive watched each season of both shows AT LEAST 3 times with the sole exception being Season 4 of BE (twice).

Boardwalk Empire just does everything better from the storytellin, character development (van alden ) Cinematic shots, acting and pace (which was VASTLY improved in season 4)

Only edge sopranos got to me is the dark humor. Ive cracked the fukk up in the majority of its episodes. Espicially any episode with paulie and ralph, chris had his moments too

And i guess as far as lead character goes. Tony>Nucky. But that doesnt make nucky a bad lead tho, i think his character transitioned well from Politician to Gangster but tony soprano was one of a kind, all sorts of fukked up, plus james gandolfini played the hell out that role

I think Anyone whos watched all seasons of both shows multiple times and really got a feel for the overall plot of the season can agree

Hex, I think Sopranos is better then BE. But, if you asked Terrence Winter he would put BE on his resume. Some interviews Terrence comes off like he feels the Sopranos had a lot of flaws in it. Which it did have some flaws. But Sopranos still >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> BE.

I'm currently on season 2 of BE. loving it so far. Sopranos is my fave show of all time so if BE gets to that level by season 4 then it would have really out done itself.

I think after boardwalk has a series finale then its a better time to ask that question. And at the end, i think he'd choose the one with MARTIN SCORCESE on it

obviously the sopranos is almost a household name for being probably the first big hit cable series to do the numbers it did, but that doesnt mean it cant be touched.

I wanna ask you tho, how many rewatches have you done of boardwalk empire front to back? DId you only watch it on a week to week basis or did you sit down and properly absorbed the whole show? I dont think anyone can properly rate a series without a couple of rewatches

Margarete story mightve been a bit boring, but for a reason. she was trying to find her way to become important and not over shadowed by nucky and being worthless (just like carmela). She tried to become a pioneer in pre-natal care, and tried to become an important figure to the hospital and church but she realized it was coming from being the wife of a ruthless gangster. And it all led to something, we see her in season 4 being independent by offering information instead of p*ssy to get something in return and she was more at peace with that

I agree on the Narcisse thing. He held my attention way more than Gyp did. Through a rewatching, I enjoyed Gyp more than I did the first time but I don't get why he's overly loved. I can say I loved the scene with him insulting everybody after Nucky told him that he wouldn't be selling to them.

disagree 100% tho. Boardwalk Empire sucks hot garbage, and anybody that knows me, knows how much I love mobster flicks/shows, especially ones based in my home state.

Yeah and with all that soul searching they showed her doin, they could have fleshed out some of the more relevant players during the prohibition era.
