Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Agreed. They pay their fighters chump change. Meanwhile Dana in the casinos dropping multiple event's worths on bets.

half the ufc fighters probably like :whoo::damn: Floyd made more money in one second than I did ($83,333 roughly?) than I did in one or two events :damn:

Assuming Floyd really makes over 200mill, he could pay for the purses of 50,000 ufc undercard debut fighters ($4,000)

Since Robert Guerrero got his Floyd stimulus package bailout he's been averaging over $1 million per fight, these MMA heads don't even know who the Ghost is but he's out here making more than the biggest UFC draws :francis:

Im strictly talking hypotheticals. Ya the insecure ones that ya can't admit that a man with absolutely 0 knowledge of grappling can hypothetically lose to a grappling master who's also sick with the muay thai or another striking skill. It's logic but ya just get uptight and angry and defensive when it gets brought up.

I laugh at this shyt...When i watch Floyd fight im thinking about the fight, the strategies, when yall watch him fight yall thnking what would he do in a octagon against Harley from boy meets world...

People really don't understand just how many boxing fans are out there, people from all demographics and all walks of life follow the sport. If they did a poll on boxing, I guarantee the demographics would be the most diverse of any sport in the US.

You looking at this as ufc vs boxing. Im not:yeshrug:. The point is that ufc is flourishing in 2015. Nothing more, nothing less. Not everybody has Fs1

not at all. when i watch boxing im thinking boxing, when i watch mma(which i barely do nowadays anyway) im thinking mma. but when i see insecure boxing fans call mma "gay sex" i laugh at ya ignorance and insecurity and love to see ya get uptight when i mention the truth, which is that IF there was a physical altercation between floyd who ya stan like crazy and the 10th ranked flyweight mixed martial artist, floyd would get washed. ya only defense is "floyd would never fight them anyway so its a stupid comparison". playing dumb like ya dont know what a hypothetical is :russ:

:francis:

Yet when I bring up the fact that hbo is a subscription service let's discuss live gate its "bbbbbut you're making this a ufc vs boxing thing :to: ........not everybody gets fox :sadcam: "

I didn't bring that into this conversation, you did.

No one isn't saying that ufc isn't doing fine it's always you tapout/affliction brehs talking about "boxing is dying" on some little man complex shyt. You hardly every hear boxing fans speaking like that on mma. I've worked out with both mma pros and amateurs and have had hour long conversations about boxing with them, I've yet to hear any of them say boxing is dying. :cmsas1:

But the logitech black belts always seem to feel some type of way about boxing :cmsas2:

Show me where I said boxing was dying? I fukk with mma and boxing. My nikka put the pompoms down:francis:

Ufc is doing fine. Thats literally all im saying, because it was implied in this thread that mma is falling off. Which is subjective of course.

Hypothetically speaking you dont know what would happen...thats the funniest part about this...most of these mma guys have shytty hands, thats the neutralizer for most boxers who would fight against them...I have seen very few MMA fighters with even decent boxing skills so to say it encompasses boxing is not really true...

If you have elite hands you have a punchers chance at being a dominant champion in MMA...Its easier to learn defence techniques than it is for a UFC fighter to learn how to throw quick effective combos...But hypothetically what would a flyweight or welterweight do in a boxing ring ? Get knocked out pretty quick

Give Floyd some basic defense training and he has a punchers chance at beating anyone in the sport, would never happen the other way around...

I love the sport of boxing and have been watching since before I could eat/walk/talk and trained since I was a teenager so no I'm not going to put the pompoms down :sog: It's the GOAT sport in my eyes. :blessed:

I said it's always the tapout/affliction brehs saying that "boxing is dying" I didn't mean it as YOU specifically saying that but if you own one of those shirts it might apply to you friend.

No let's not give anybody any extra training and wonder what they would be doing in a cage or a ring.

I'm saying right now, if Floyd, who has never ever had to worry about being taken down, got into a street fight with a mma fighter with a black belt in jiu jitsu he is going to lose. MMA is closer to real fighting than boxing is.

Boxers stances are different because they don't have to worry about being taken down. U could give Floyd all the defensive training u want, it isn't going to undo a lifetime of a specific stance. Boxers "blade" their bodies to make a smaller target. "blading" or standing more sideways than squared up, is the easiest way to be taken down and it's the first thing they teach u in any mma striking class.

I'm not talking out of my ass. Floyd is a great boxer and if u make Anderson Silva just box Floyd, Floyd will embarrass him. But fighting isn't boxing, there's more to it. A takedown is the easiest thing in the world to land on a boxer, ask James toney.

Just admit that if Floyd got into a fight in the street with a mixed martial artist, Floyd will lose. It doesn't take away from boxing or from Floyd as a boxer. It's just a logical fact. Does he stand a chance? Maybe if he lands a hard enough punch. But Floyd isn't known for knocking anybody out.

Now a heavyweight boxer with ridiculous punching power vs a heavyweight mma guy, he has more of a punchers chance because if he lands that short uppercut while the mma guy is coming in for a takedown, it's lights out. But if he doesn't land that punch it's over for him too.

You're talking out of your ass. MMA takedown defenses come from wrestling and a lot of wrestling footwork is similar to boxing, never on your heels, don't cross feet, one foot in front of the other, always circle never pull back etc in wrestling if you square up your chances of getting doubled/ankle picked/high crotch go up significantly. So explain to me how a boxer has a better chance of getting taken down because of their stance :stopitslime: Wrestlers damn near use the boxing un garde position which you're referring to in regards to the boxing stance where youre back heel lines up with your front toe or "blade" as you call it

BurroughsBronze300x375.jpg

Greatest active wrestler alive and all he is in is a lower slightly more turned en garde position. If you square up to take you penetration step chances are your shot will be stuffed so :camby: with this non sense you talking like any boxer can be taken down like nothing because of their stance.

:wtf:

MMA is not "closer" to real fighting, real fighting involves someone smashing a bottle over your fukking head, having 2 people try to attack you or someone throwing a chair at you before they try to punch you. You act like it's just a given that Floyd or a boxer will just get taken down to the ground, like it's an impossibility for them to land a quick 1-2, considering they're far more accurate with their hands than MMA guys.

Again, ignore the FACT Conor McGregor is a former boxer, the whole reason he's so good is because nobody can fukk with his stand up game. You are talking out your ass, a fight can go either way period, you got good grapplers getting knocked out by shytty strikers (compared to boxers) all the fukking time.
