His dikk riding MJ soliloquies sickened me to no end.

How about no one did? Those years forced this "player vs player" mentality amongst NBA fans. It hurts the game's popularity being so much on that. Onky sport which does that.Well, MJ deserved it

They need to focus on the teams like CBS used to do even with Bird and Magic carrying the league.
The networks dont decide how to market the league, the league does.. and the NBA was at its peak during the Jordan era. cuz u had other stars like Kemp, Ewing, Barkley, Malone etc.

Second....the NBA took control of how the league was marketed once they left CBS. NBC used to have all of their sports under the "NBC Sports" umbrella before they took over the NBA and practically gave the league autonomy on how they marketed the game and started the "back of your jersey" showcasing of the NBA.
This doesn't have jack shyt to do with being a fan of a team I hated.
