That intro was better than anything ESPN has ever made to hype up a basketball game. Talked about each team's past and how it tied into the night's matchup. Made it feel like the game had real stakes and both teams are playing for something down the line. Simple and relatable.

Made a late October game feel more important than the finals on ABC where it's walking into the arena like he's a star, screaming for the 3 minutes they have before another commercial break, and him picking fights with players.

I’m convinced that ABC is either lazy or don’t give a fukk about the game enough to put effort into the presentation to make it more compelling.

Then they cut away to SGA walking in the arena wearing some designer fashion and then the crew gets excited “Do you see the drip”?!? OMG! like it’s a red carpet special

I feel like ABC glamorizes the game while NBC makes the game more gritty.

Great presentation, a little effort goes a long way. It's time we get back to celebrating and respecting this game. And I was only like 5 for NBC's last run but I'm tired of ESPN/ABC juvenile ass way of talking about the game.
