That was ill for the 50's (for today too) and yes we are lucky that the footage is still around. I'm not one of those, "back in the days they were better" dudes, but I gotta admit those Cousy passes were better than today's PGs.

Imagine if he used both hands because he was ambidextrous.:banderas: Plus I'm a little biased because he's from NYC.

Cousy has always been on my list of dude who could cook nowadays. Him and Pistol Pete would be the NBA Marketing Executive's wet dream in 2014

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
LOL at most of you not pointing out these dudes could finish the fast break with above average shooting percentages too, most of todays kids force it with no finesse, the fundamentals are totally ignored.

been workin on a documentary style mix on Oscar Robertson for months now with no end in sight so took a break and put together a quick set of clips of Cousy doing what he did best, run the fast break

Props to you, too, you been putting in work on these mixes for years, you should be working for NBATV, if you aren't already

one slow motion gif of the dope play at 4:09 that omits the touch pass cousy hits after some guard in the 1950's slips on the floor ruins wilt chamberlain discussions for you?

:comeon:

on tha same token then wouldn't flopping, slipping, or other awkward modern game gifs make you not take Jordan, Kobe or Lebron seriously?

i agree, some really nice dimes

people need to have some perspective here, it was the damn 1950s

we are lucky to even be seeing this footage to be honest
Plus at that time coos had no one to copy his game after

Not like players today
Kobe took all his moves from the goats

A peak at some never before seen Oscar footage, all going to be cleaned up and used as part of my next project. An Oscar Robertson documentary.
