It’s not a diss it’s just the truth.. them nikkas was playing basketball in spare time while kids now are basically bred from birth to play.. only the old mfs get upset about it , it’s not a diss it’s the truth
Despite all that Reddikk can't match Cousy's accomplishments. He should have played it more humble.

Bench Journeymen former Role players be so edgy when they get a TV gig. Who hurt JJ Redikk? He should be thankful and appreciative of the Plumbers and Firemen that kept the ball rolling so he can live the lifestyle he’s living now.

He should sit back and relax with all these dumb takes.

man every athlete worked second jobs. The $ wasn't there. The old mf's ain't getting upset cause you rarely hear from them speak on the current state of the game. Its just idiot fans who weren't alive during that period that like tout this. And why is basketball the only sport where you see this level of disrespect? You might hear a snipe or two from football players but that deals more with the rules getting lax

Its the truth thats used as a diss.
And its stupid to even bring up cause the game was still being developed and it was still being developed for everyone on an even playing field.
Almost every athlete in every sport had a 2nd job during that time cause the sports weren't making money like that so why even bring it up? Cause you trying to diss and disrespect the players for being born when they were.

I always found it wild for people to diss their past. Like if it wasn't for those "plumbers" or "janitors", no one would be making the money they're making now....wild
Bro basketball is the only sport all the old mfs be hating on the younger generations .. so of course naturally the younger players gonna rebuttal them.. when it’s actually facts involved then it’s some Aw man y’all ungrateful with out us blah blah blah.. can’t have it both ways

Entire argument is stupid to me.

It's like comparing the PS1 to the PS5.

For those of us who experienced the release of the PS1 in real time, we were blown away. We had never seen anything like it. We loved it.

But looking back on it, everything is kinda "cringe" when compared to the consoles of today, but even still, we would never shyt on the past consoles because we remember IN REAL TIME how impressed we were and how much fun we had playing it.

No need to compare.

Without the past and the people who built it, we wouldn't have the luxuries of today.
