His contract isn’t up yet

You usually retire when your contract is over

Don't matter man, he didn't want to stick around this long in the first place.

Here's an article from 2017, saying he's pushing back his retirement until 2019:

Bob Iger will likely extend tenure as Disney CEO past 2019 retire date

He's been wanting out of that CEO position for like 5 years now.

The sole reason I even been keeping track of this is because when Disney bought Fox people were worried Iger wouldn't let them do R rated content. I told cats don't worry, he'll retire or step aside sooner or later.

Fred.

I doubt there’s a scandal, he’s so important to Disney they would’ve been handled it. He’s probably tired.

Too bad he couldn't beat Jerry Jones when it mattered most. But shyt, the fix was in from the start.

Goodluck I guess with whatever's next.

Its because he has done a horrible job with star wars the investors want him out. He hired the worst white women to helmet star wars possible
So what? Honestly, Star Wars fans have been complaining since Return of the Jedi in 1983. They are the most bitter group of manchild nerds on the planet.
:hhh:
The MCU is massively successful and attracts a far wider audience than SW. For instance, Asian countries don’t give a shyt about SW.
:skip:
Disney’s animated films have also been crazy successful that last decade. They haven’t eaten as well off of them since the 90s.

Even the lazy ass live action remakes are bringing in money.

They just bought Fox last year.

Why the heck would they demote him over Star Wars when his tenure has been overall
amazing for Disney?
