Entire article can summed up as
Character Development Bad, Boba Fett we know too much. Scust
That kind of thing is to be expected, plus he's still a criminal, he just values his honor. The Mandalorian series character Djinn was the same but we like him because he kicks ass still and we were invested in the story.
Thats the problem with Boba, so far he hasn't had many badass moments showcasing his skill in the suit like the Mandalorian did and we are spending too much time on his recruiting and building rather then progressing a storyline.

The ramblings of an edgy nerd.

If these nerds were calling the shots, every protagonist would be an invincible barbarian who goes out of their way to show how little fukks they have to give.

- rage filled child who watched Jango get beheaded
- thereafter raised by bounty hunters
- trained by Aurra Sing, a failed jedi
- rose through that world to become the best bounty hunter in the galaxy, better than IG units, Black Krssantan, Bossk and a host of others
- resurrected in the Mandalorian, finally gets showcased as that level of deadly he's always been rumoured to be
- Book of Boba Fett: "rule with respect", negotiates with everybody he meets, please listen to my demo
- but..."ramblings"

ok then...no inconstencies at all :pachaha:

Djin is a fresh character that they can build from scratch. They just retconned Boba in real time. Big difference.

And your last sentence agrees with the article. :francis:

Except my point was that as long as you give him satisifying action, you make him a glorified nanny like the mando series and people will still like it.
The article claims making Boba care about respect and not be evil was the mistake, that has nothing to do with the action. and doesn't matter to me.

It is the ramblings of a nerd. This is the shyt they do on a consistent basis. List a bunch of points with zero regard for consistency.

We know that he has a conscience, that he isn't a mindless cutthroat. Showing mercy, attempting to rule with respect as opposed to fear, isn't an inconsistency.

And I'd put his performances down to being injured. He's still bathing in the bacta tank which suggests he has not fully recovered.

wat

For all the reasons already listed as being the canonical makeup of the character, it absolutely is an inconsistency.

This is a legit possibility, even though its more likely BoBF simply didn't get the same budget for cgi and stunt work that Mando did.:ehh:

Boba Fett is :flabbynsick: and living in a shyt hole.
They should of made the show an origin story from what happened after Jango was killed to him becoming a young man. Or made the series about him being a bounty hunter for the Empire.
