Bobby Shmurda says he doesn’t listen to rap because it’s very dangerous to the black community and it influences kids to kill, shoot and murder.

Searching Bobby on YT... he got a music video called 'Rats' this year, on that same type of violent time.

Plus he contradicting himself anyway...

how you sayin' you don't listen to rap... but you listen to rap in the club cause 'ill dance to anything' :patrice:

I'm not buying what he sayin here but yall go ahead
These old dudes on here will consume and run with anything if it fits their narrative. With a bit of critical thinking we can all see he's full of shyt but brehs gonna rock with his shyt and call it "growth" when in reality he has exhibited none.

The energy ain’t the same with these hoes rapping about wet p*ssys and robbing nikkas
That shyt is just as detrimental as young nikkas pulling out dikks with the switch
That’s why I say all you nikkas are full of shyt hypocrites
You will have a thousand page thread on shyt like this
But a bytch wearing a bonnet
Let her live
bytch talking about setting a nikka up
Let her live
So miss me with the fake sanctimony
You want black people to have better images
But play coy and obtuse with other shyt outside of music
You Bird Chest, Dead Mike nikkas ain’t living the bullshyt y’all type so comfortably behind this fukking screen
I don’t support any of it, but I know a lot of y’all CAC c00ns will fly down with capes tied tight to defend hoes… “don’t you say nothin bout our Queans!”

2 of his last five singles are called “Rats” and “Hitta”
His biggest and only prominent song is “Hot nikka” which is exclusively about drug dealing and shooting people

Rap music is a mental and spiritual poison that is FORCED upon the black community by the small but extremely powerful group who owns all of the worlds major media outlets. The entertainment industry and the prison industrial complex are in bed together.

It's literally suffocating us to death as a collective. It's all these mask & hoodie, sagging pants savages listen to. Even a segment of the good kids from good stable homes are listening to it and it's becoming their entire persona for the worse (Ja Morant for example).

Can't even pump gas without somebody pulling up next to you blasting the most vulgar and low vibrational death music.

Can't even watch an NBA telecast anymore without a trap beat playing going into every commercial break.
Last month i saw a Fedex worker pull up to a doctors office delivering packages for the workers with some wack drill music playing. And ive seen that done several times by people on the job

I look at dudes like arent you embarrassed to be playing that? Everybody else playing feel good music especially as the weather is getting warmer and you blasting songs about shooting opps? Wtf is wrong with these kids

I wonder if they play drill music in bed with women too. "Nah fukk that afrobeat let me put on that Kay Flock for you babe"

Agreed. I think most adults grow out of hip hop.
Only because they just stop listening to new artists who tend to be younger. There's a generational gap in subject matter and slang. Old heads will have 2Pac, Nas, DMX etc. On repeat but since these older artists either can't drop new music anymore (they're dead) or don't drop very often they have to seek out other music to listen to and it likely won't be rap unless one of their old favorites drops a track or album. Some other genres of music don't necessarily have that issue because the focus is less on lyric content and instead the melody

It’s not all rap is the same but props to bobby
Who cares? By far what the masses play in both the underground and mainstream for the most part is the same run of the mill street nikka raps.
