How would they even police it in a restaurant. I used to work in a 4 diamond steakhouse. creme fraiche is technically against the law, but we still served it, just hid the batch somewhere when food inspectors came.
Management can put an end to it if they want.
There will be some that will outlaw it now.

Not every law is entirely enforceable.
Thats just how the world is.
But you still pass laws that are right and if 1 person follows it, then youre doing better than yesterday.

This is ignorant shyt. No one who has ever watched a person or animal suffer can claim that a humane death and a torturous death are the same thing. If you have to kill a farm animal, there is a world of difference between doing it quickly and humanely and doing it in a way that causes a great deal of suffering.

Imagine your neighbor's dog got sick and he had to euthanize it. He's gonna want to take it to a vet and inject it with something that kills it painlessly and easily, right? You think that making sure to kill something quickly and painlessly is no different than purposely causing it suffering? If he threw the dog into boiling water to watch it struggle and yelp until it burned to death, would you feel the same way about him?
If they had to die, i could see your point. The dog is sick and it needs to be put down to stop suffering.
These lobsters are perfectly healthy, nobody is eating sick seafood. We are electing to kill them. There is no such thing as recreational yet humane murder.

somebody mentioned earlier that doing this will appease PETA. :mjlol: Peta wants us to be vegan, they don't make any distinction for us morally for eating animals that were killed "painlessly"

i dont eat these vermin, but i have seen people make drunken lobster with a pot full of champagne and the lobsters were very slowed down by the alcohol. i can imagine they didnt know they were being boiled. i guess that is the most humane way to do it, LOL.

No matter what the reason for killing is, there's always gonna be a difference between killing something humane and torturing it. Anyone who works in a farm or hunts can tell you that, you wanna do that shyt as quickly as possible with the least suffering possible if you can.

If yall think that's bad, don't look up Ike Jime. They basically paralyze the fish and cut the meat off while it's still alive and can't move.

This is how we clean the crab before cooking, cooking alive seems much more humane.

Not true, the difference is purely subjective if 'torturing' an animal makes it safer or more edible, go ahead. Once you decide to kill something you're not in a position to judge.
