Not you specifically, I actually agree. Obviously, it was aimed at some of the commentors in here. It is the cost of the industry in current form. Myself a meat eater, I know I pull via demand and contribute to it myself, although I've made an effort to waste and consume less. I still think there could be advancements to this industry and cost/harm reduction resulting from this mass production.

Point was, I'd place all animals in the same hierarchy, and that's under humans, and that including dogs and horses and dolphins. I don't cry for the chicken anymore than a lobster, nor would I any other animal even if it doesn't personally give me sustenance. I understand not everyone sees it the same way

Lobsters do not really have a brain or a nervous system the way we think of them and because of that they don't feel pain. It literally makes no difference how you kill them. They don't register pain and at some point just stop being alive

They definitely don't feel pain the way we do. They can recognize deadly situations and react or escape to protect themselve, but it's not the same as reacting to a physical pain.
