I've eaten both Bojangles and Popeyes, Bojangles is what Popeyes used to be in the 90s. Old heads know what I'm talking about.

I finally had Bojangles this weekend while traveling and it wasn't what I expected at all. It reminded me of a local chain, which reminds me of a less greasy/salty version of Church's. Their mac & cheese was terrible. Dirty rice was alright. I wish I could've tried more to get a full sense but based on what I had (including the chicken sandwich) I'm going with Popeye's.

Just had bojangles for the first time. That shyt is disgusting. The chicken was chewy and the mac was trash.

Bojangles is underwhelming af and nobody cab convince me that peak Bojangles > peak Popeyes and I’m not even gonna factor in the Popeyes that are in Louisiana because they actually hit way better than the others.
