I went from finding Boldy super boring and sleepy a few years ago to being one of my favorite rappers.

There's just something about the way he paints vivid pictures in his lyrics...and his flow/delivery just has a hypnotic quality to me now.
Exactly. It took Price of Tea for me.

And even then I've said this a dozen times on here, but he's noticeably better to me after Boldface/Price of Tea and Versace Tape. It started on Real Bad Boldy and by the time Bo Jackson/Tecmo Bo came around the next level-up was complete.

It's like he's way better or anything, but he's just a little crisper and sharper, and has even wittier bars and more vivid stories.

it's the opposite for me, dude instantly reminded me of the best parts (:dame:) of Prodigy and BG (hot boys/chopper city). Been a fan since right before he started rhyming with Alc.

yeah this album is really great, you gotta love to see boldy progress.
Apparently we're about to eat big too for a while. I believe this is the order of the his next single-producer projects.

Boldy and Futurewave
Boldy and V Don
Boldy and Alchemist
Boldy and J Dilla

and maybe Boldy and Harry Fraud

Bo Jackson/Super Tecmo Bo are Tea in China are my favorites on that list but I'll give a quick cliff notes:

My 1st Chemistry Set: The 1st Alc and Boldy album. Hardest batch of production Al dropped in the 2010's, and Boldy sounds raw, but the talent is there. Rapping wise he's better now, but this is an album full of bangers. Boldy and Al wouldn't reunite for another 6-7 years.

The Price of Tea in China: 2020 album from Boldy and Al. Most would probably say this is their best album together. If they're MadGibbs, then this is their Pinata. Very dark and gritty and cohesive.

Bo Jackson: 2021 album. Boldy and Alc's follow up to Price of Tea. If they're MadGibbs, this is their Bandana. It's more colorful sounding and vibrant than Price of Tea. Not quite as dark. But Boldy is even better as an emcee and it's my favorite project they've done. Boldy arguably out raps all the guests.

Super Tecmo Bo: Short album that dropped December 2021 by Boldy and Alc as a companion piece to Bo Jackson. Only 9 songs, and only one feature. Very unique, and it might be the first project I'd recommend for people that want to appreciate Boldy as a rapper. The vinyl drops this Friday BTW at noon EST.

Real Bad Boldy: 1st Collab album between Boldy and Real Bad Man, from 2020.

Killing Nothing: Follow up to Real Bad Boldy and a good deal better IMO. Boldy is just a much better rapper in 2021 and 2022 than he's ever been.

EDIT: vinyl link for this Friday. Open pre-order: Super Tecmo Bo (LP - Black Vinyl)
There’s a question I thought of a little while ago that maybe you can answer bro. Is boldys official “bigger” albums on griselda going to be more alc albums or is he also going to have a album with all the gxfr producers including alc. I’m good with it either way I was just wondering cuz I thought boldy would’ve dropped a “official album like that” this year with all the different producers and features from all the members for example like a tt3/tt4, ktr, fktag, hwh8 etc. Even if the alc albums are the only official ones I’m good with that cuz alc and boldy nvr miss. :whew:
