These beats ain't doing it for me on first listen, and that shocks me to say because out of the new crop of upcoming producers V Don had the most promise imo.

its the opposite for me.

Even when boldy rap over Alchemist or Harry Fraud i find myself falling asleep.

But V Don beats got some knock to it which makes him more tolerable for me.

It helps me highlight how dope boldy is cause I can stay engaged.

I guess it's just these batch of beats sound like old V Don beats, which isn't bad but compared to other producers who came out with him it just sounds like he regressed.


Comparing this to Token Of Appreciation and it's like you can hear in those beats how much better Chuck Strangers has gotten as a producer, I honestly feel like that album will be another modern day Boldy classic but time will tell. This album just seems like they both played it safe with their respective styles.

i get it...

The difference with me is im kind of a mild boldy fan.

because as ive stated before hes a dope MC but i have issues with his delivery and energy.

So this suits me more.

But i imagine if i was more of an overall fan of Boldy's work I could look at it from the nuanced perspective you can which is dope....

I feel the complete opposite. V Don has leveled the fukk up. These beats are FIRE. He has improved 1000%. These beats suit Boldy perfectly. Crazy.

Yeah to me these beats are absolutely perfect for Boldy, I think they play to his strengths better than anything outside of like, Bo Jackson, which is a legitimate modern classic imo

I thought it was good but I already don’t care about this album. The beats ain’t it and the songs are whatever. Vdon and boldy can both do way better. Besides like 3 or 4 songs this is really mid shyt. After about a week or less this was some forgettable shyt. Idk y boldy and Vdon chose the batch of beats they did. Boldy chooses his best batch of beats from Al most his other projects besides the futurewave one the batch of beats from producers don’t hit like that. This one doesn’t have replay value for me.
