Bomani Jones Appreciation Thread

I like these dudes esp Michael Smith but dudes do too much bowing down to women (like alot of sucker ass dudes IMO) and I disagree about either being married or single but for the most part I like him.

I find MIchael Smith to be incredibly corny. Tries entirely to hard to be funny and hip, but I ain't mad. Proud of what him and Jhemele are doing on Numbers Never Lie.

I can definitely see that too but I think its because he has that nerd swagger. I get the movie references and most of the other stuff but how he says it makes it look wack. I like NNL but I do wish they had a third person like it used to be.

I mess with Bo; I used to call into the local show he had here real heavy; and he was good for kicking it with regular folk. No lie, my man showed up at my job one day after his local show got cut; he was just going around kicking it with the folk that had supported his show. I'll never forget seeing some strange number on my desk phone and picking it up and he was like "Yo it's Bomani, I'm right outside ya job".. He put me up on game about a lot of the inner workings of the media and how he got pushed to the side when he had, easily, the most popular show on the station.

Right. It just disregards that albums have differently paced songs to break up all the hits....even if I agree Off the Wall is a slightly better album.
