I mess wit Bomani, I like him on ESPN. Do you all listen to his podcast the Evening Jones. He has new episodes every Monday and talks about all kind of topics outside the realm of sports and it is very entertaining and hilarious to me. Here is the link. http://www.theeveningjones.com/. It is also available on Itunes.

Comes across as a smug, irritable, know-it-all jackass on ESPN, but maybe he just hasn't grown on me yet. My only real experience with him is seeing him on ATH and Highly Questionable. Maybe I'll give his podcast a try. Regardless of my personal feelings, it's good to see young brothers like him, Michael Smith, and Stephen A. shining.

I appreciate seeing some of our persepectives (stolen or not) expressed in a mainstream forum. At times the nikka sounds just like a coli poster. I :salute: his stance on college sports and going against the grain on many other media narratives. He doesn't play the "it's black folks fault no matter what" card like :comeon:. He tries too hard to be the contrarian sometimes but he's alright with me for the most part.

I disagreed with him on Tom Moore from the Colts saying he'd pick Luck over RG3 and he replied to me and acted like a little bytch on twitter. That changed my view on him a little but besides that he's fine with me for the most part. He obviously "borrows" hot urban message board topics and incorporates them into his appearances on ESPN shows.

We share a lot of the same sensiblities but it just seems like he tries too hard.. He doesn't seem naturally arrogant so it comes off as a little bit of a schtick...

He doesn't c00n though...And thats so rare in Black sports media that I have to give him his props.. Even though I can only tolerate him in small doses...

I like these dudes esp Michael Smith but dudes do too much bowing down to women (like alot of sucker ass dudes IMO) and I disagree about either being married or single but for the most part I like him.
