I think James Blake is/was more known than Sefolosha. Most people on here might not have known who he was, but he was really popular at the U.S. Open and that assault happened as he was waiting to go TO the U.S. Open. Blake had a more natural support system. Announcers and other people associated with the tournament kept it in the news.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't recall the Hawks players making much of a stink over the incident. It would help if other players in the league were more vocal about the situation. They've done stuff for Trayvon, "I can't breathe" shirts, etc. but nothing for Thabo, who is one of their own.
