Nice civil and substantive conversation.
That said I wonder why Bomani didn't just come out and speak on the absurd police system in this nation, why no talk of the main source of violence between related to the war on drugs.
Its a nice feel good conversation that really didn't speak on the real issues.
I've always said he knows where his bread is buttered. He never strays too far from things liberal white people want to hear.

We saw what happened with Donald Sterling, so yeah its not surprising that white owners and white athletes are glad they don't have to speak about social issues

shyt both of his parents. Didn't know about how his dad was essentially fired from Southern due to pressure from the Louisiana governor back in the day. The school administration folded like cowards and had the nerve to give him an honorary doctorate years later. He said his dad never forgave them :wow:

:ohhh:

It's absurd to think that it's the owners of sports teams that need to fix race problems in America. ..:mjlol:

Good luck with that :francis:

True. I've been around this dude a few times, you can tell he was never the cool kid

Word? Where was this? Not tryna throw shade, just legitimately curious as to the setting.... I hung out with dude on several occasions at the NC Pro Am back when he had his local show here in Raleigh, and dude was very comfortable with the people. He used to clown me on the air over a story I told about punching a dude in the nuts when I was growing up in the projects. Then when he met my son, he asked him if I had taught him those same lessons lol. Even popped up at my job to kick it after he was let go by the idiots at Capitol Broadcasting even though he had what was easily the most popular show on the station. In fact the last time I called him on his ESPN show, he still referenced it from what, almost 7, 8 years later? Put me up on a lot of game about the radio biz. Always seemed like a reasonably sociable cat to me. :manny:

Yo...he suggested trying out that website that quantified vocabularies.

I scored just under 13k. His was over 17k.

He is in media, but still...

Smart dude.

He wouldn't look Molly in the eye today though.

:lolbron:
What's that website.
