Yes we all agree having a stable family helps. But having a stable family aint the reason Bomani is smart like this. He has said and admitted that his parents were pro-black, fought for black issues and supported black folks. These were black folks who purposely took less money to teach at HBCUs and teach in Nigeria. They also made it a point to put Bomani in a black private school because they felt it would give him a solid foundation for his upbringing.

These were parents who were down for the cause and is one of the reasons Bomani ain't out here selling his soul for pennies on the dollar.

Pretty sure we're saying the same thing. Having both parents being present, accountable, and having integrity is what helps children. My point is that people wanting all this change and whatnot from policies and systems are wasting their time as raising a family will do more for yours than what this country will do.

Molly got put in check real quick there at the end. Bomani raised some great points. Especially about the talk. Freddie did too. What now...

Bomani been a real one. I first started following him a few years back when he was just doing his podcasts (Evening Jones).

I found him because it was MLK day and he was on twitter sonnin' folks about how King was not some docile, kumbaya brother that he's portrayed to be. He was a revolutionary fighting against white supremacy and how a lot of these cacs who claim to admire him would be calling him a "race-baiter" among other shyt.

Been a fan ever since. Happy to see he's continuing to voice those same opinions as his platform grows.

I remember that MLK day and he was throwing links to old articles calling King a race hustler.

I been following him since The Morning Jones and Page 2. That Sterling article on Page 2 :ohlawd:

Wait that's Freddie Coleman? I'd seen him once or twice before and heard his radio show plenty times. I been thinking that's Craig Robinson, Michelle Obama's brother :mjlol:
