no joke filling the lanes was more entertaining at times. that could have been a hell of a show with some tweaks @I.V. @Walt @NYC Rebel @DrRick

'Preciate it. It's sad the show fell apart, because there's such a dearth of shows/voices that articulate what a lot of reasonable black people think and discuss in private. I wish I could've even kept the joint with Reb going, but I just didn't have the necessary time and energy on the personal side. And trust, we would've had some amazing shyt planned for a show on this Sterling shyt. The homie @Mr Hate Coffee would've had a Chee impression lined up and we would've recorded some secret tapes where @NYC Rebel was telling me not to post pictures with @I.V. on my Instagram.

The shyt with Bomani is that despite all the flack he gets for having diva tendencies, I'd never shyt on dude because he is one of the only people articulating a specific, familiar perspective on a big platform. You have to support people like that, period.

i miss his show. bomani is a very smart dude and his show was great.... dude kinda used to respond like a spoiled white kid/woman when people would disagree with him though. he also stanned jay/bron too hard while hating on kobe/nas.....plus he was a box score whore

you gotta give him props for keeping it real at all times when it comes to the racial stuff though

He's got a great depth of knowledge on a WIDE range of topics outside of sports. And you can't say that about a lot of people in the industry. He's an original, thoughtful voice... and I'll always appreciate that.

But for my money, I'd still rather hear @Walt's take any day of the week.

And good looks on the show shoutout. It would have been fun to keep it going. But the truth is, I couldn't keep associating with all those blacks....:obamashake:

That was something I couldn't get onboard with either. I was initially disappointed when they played but disappointment was soon replaced with sadness. I felt bad for those dudes becuz more than anyone in this world, they are the most effected by this. And it showed from the opening whistle.
It's the lack of understanding towards the uncharted territory, pressure, lack of guidance, push-and-pull forces and the suddenness of it all that makes me SMH. It was if folk wanted Doc and the players to read, react and respond in the same manner that they would in a situation on the court.

That's the last sub-plot that needs to be added to some shyt like this.

Doubt there's a chance this happens but just imagine if they played thru this, made it to the Finals then refused to play? Not happening cause it's the KKKlippers but it could.....right :yeshrug:

From personal interaction with him, the hate he garners, he brings on himself. He doesn't know how to agree to disagree and it results him getting overly emotional.

True, Bomani Jones can be a little too passionate at times, however it seems as if he has toned down his intense personality which makes him more of a likable character now than before.
