I always have. It's my favorite Redman album
One of my favorite albums of all time, ironic that Redman hates it (dark period in his life).
Don't love it enough to watch Bomani (for some reason I can't stand dude) but will always support any thread on it, and on Red in general.

Albums problem is its not very catchy. Its like a giant cypher. Onky a few songs really caught my ear and i love dark stuff but never couod get into this. One of the bigger dissapointment when i heard it. What is way better.

My fav Redman album and one of my GOAT albums period. Production is insane and Red was on some other shyt lyrically (probably dusted out of his mind).

brehs seeing the light. Peak redman to me but he personally hates this album too because of the shyt that was going on. I think he said he took a whole bunch of acid making this album and don't even remember most ofit.

Illmatic is much catchier has good hooks and beats that are all diff. His rhymes also are very visual and give you more than what red was doing here.
Reds album sounds like one giant beat to me. With verses having no real beginning or ending ot any hooks that catch you
believe me, after what the album i thought this was gon be a monster and every few years i try to get into it and i just cant. Bores me to death. Sounds like red just got super high and just did whatever came to mind with no rhyme or reason/prep. he pretty much confirmed that when he said he dont like this album because he was drugged up and not doing what he was supposed to do.
