Yeah I think High Noon could've worked if he had a better person to pair with besides Pablo Torre. And not a shot at Pablo either cause I think he's great on air, but I never liked that fit
Agreed. I thought a pairing of Bo and Michael Smith would've been perfect since Michael Smith has that likability to him and is a bit goofy. I thought he would perfectly balance Bo out and help ground him. Plus the respect factor between him and Bo is there as well so it wouldn't come off as much as Bo treating him like a nerd the way he would to Pablo.

To me it's the exact opposite. Bo in theory should work and be a big star. He can be funny as hell. He's very articulate. He can go deep on topics and provide unique viewpoints. fNot afraid to speak his mind and call out bullshyt. People might disagree but to me he's also one of the black dudes that comes off as really cool to white folks.

The problem is he just lacks the likability. He's always lacked the ability to loosen up and not take himself seriously. It's like he's too afraid to drop the cool schtick and just have fun. With Stephen A we all know he's an overly loud pompous gas bag at times but also comes off as somebody that would be fun to just sit around and talk shyt back and forth with. Bo I would just want to tell to shut the fukk up eventually and it ain't that serious.

I think Bo works best surrounded by fun personalities that can loosen him up some. The Morning Jones worked for that reason. He worked on Lebatard for the same reason and Highly Questionable. Not having that was the reason High Noon didn't quite work or why his podcasts didn't become bigger.

Lol I don't know anybody that thinks he is cool. He's always calling people herbs and dorks, like dawg have you seen yourself. Dude looks awkward as hell wearing any clothing that's not a suit.

Tony and Mike laid the blueprint for all these dudes. They both have that smartest in the room feel, but it's easily lost behind their ability to have fun and joke about themselves. Pablo is definitely a little better at that and maybe that's why he's still hanging around

Yeah Michael Smith would've been perfect on High Noon. Was it ever stated exactly why ESPN stopped fukking with him?

I think he would work on a show like this that was completely separate of sports. No idea where he'd go with that cause you already have Trevor and Oliver doing it better than many who've tried. He'll get a second season. A Black Lady Sketch Show got two and I don't know a human being on this earth whose talked about it, let alone watched it.

I agree with everyone that his time slot is fukked up. I don't watch his show until at least a few days later. I'm watching it now and the crypto segment is way off base.

I dont know when these companies are going to learn these blue check twitter bubbles don't translate to the real world.

that’s essentially his problem. He’s a snobby upper middle class bougie guy. He has I got two college degrees single mother energy. Really unlikeable.

Bomani has that rare ability, no matter the subject matter, to come off like he trying to make you feel dumb and show off his superior intellect. There is nothing actually likable about this guy for the average person. At one point you couldnt even disagree with this nikka without him blocking you on twitter. :mjlol:

This puts it better than I did. And he’s in the sports world where it’s mostly regular blue collar folks.

This is Bo at his best. So natural. Totally unforced. He trying too hard on that show.
The min he figures out how to translate that into a TV personality he'll soar prob is not every topic needs that approach, thats a weakness of most of the twitter gen they approach every topic from their niche or grievance ie fem nuts, the overly hotep, maga folks etc etc. Until he gets that he needs as others mention a foil or partner to counter balance
