It's not about the Seattle defense it's about the QB's left in the pool.

Sam Darnold was a bust.

Stidham is a backup.

Maye is in his 2nd year.

If he loses to these QB's it's a bad look. There's no Mahomes, Lamar, Burrow, Allen, Hurts, or even Love. He has to get it done. This is the easiest path to a ring a veteran can have. No one would be surprised if Darnold has a 4 INT meltdown.
QBs don’t play other QBs they play defenses.

Relatively new to listening to his podcast, but this previous episode with Howard Bryant was dope. Definitely plan on copping a hard copy.
My hard copy just came in a couple of days ago....it's definitely up next in the queue.

I've seen Robeson's name quite a bit, but put off getting into him.

Crazy to hear Bo (and Howard didn't disagree) say Robeson was possibly the most famous Black American at one point, and I barely know of him outside of the basics.

Great breakdown by both Bomani & Howard.

Coming up, there was a high school named after him in my hood. The irony is it was known as a school full of knuckleheads, which is the exact opposite of what he represented. On a different note, I'm looking forward to the series about 1996 he's putting out in a few. The joint about hip hop in 95 had me updating my Apple library.

he was a real renaissance man.
i'm not sure why he doesn't get more appreciation in the black history type situations, didn't hear the episode yet so maybe they get into that
i'm from philly so we have a couple of schools named after him but I doubt the average kid in the city really knows who he is

He a zesty closet fakkit that wishes he was an east coast dude.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Nowhere do I get the impression that he wishes he was an east coast dude. He stay clowning New York when needed.

Also, Texas is not the fukking South.

East/North-East Texas (including Houston/Dallas) is as South as it gets.

We know El Paso isn't part of the South.

Yeah

He was a legit superstar in his day. IDK the convo they had on the show, but he was written out of history because he was a communist.

They mentioned that those jokers were able to successfully turn the NAACP and other pro-Black organizations against him, which I'm sure plays a role in why he isn't more highly recognized for his accomplishments and was effectively ostracized. Shiid, Jackie Robinson testified against him in front of Congress :smh: Divide and conquer. In fairness, those same Black folks sold him out because he was too "radical," so the blame doesn't fall squarely on cacs. I always knew of him to be a renaissance man, but I had no clue about his athletic accomplishments.
