I think they def could have and SHOULD have been a top 5 group but their inconsistency with albums and their lacklustre solo work has let them down IMO. that’s one big difference between them and Wu, Bone should have had at least 2 or 3 classic or great solo albums after Art Of War but it didn’t happen for several reasons

Rocky in the grand scheme of things is like 5% Bone (at best), and y'all already know this. He took the only decent thing about them which is the pattern of their flow, and discarded the other choir-boy bullshyt (which is a masterstroke to be honest - like picking out a piece of steak from a shyt sandwich). Vocally he's vastly superior to them. Everything else from production to voice to subject matter he sounds nothing like them.
But y'all are welcome to keep forcing it to give Bone some clout. They'll still be opening for Jurassic 5 no matter how you spin it

Just like The Wu, they withstood the 90's and fell off post 2000.
We talking bout GROUPS not solo artists. Their work COLLECTIVELY AS A GROUP.
The Wu's last great album was The W and Bone's last great album was BTNHResurrection.
Both albums came out in 2000.
Hands down the best rap group of all time... me in 1997 timeline ..

i agree both disc go hard even today. They really aged well. Krayzie really sculpted a great album
